🌟 Prophet Yunus (A.S.) – A Beautiful Story for Kids 🌟

Long ago, there lived a kind Prophet named Yunus (A.S.). Allah has mentioned the incident of Yunus (A.S) in th Quran. Yunus (A s.) was a great prophet and he was from the generation of Ibrahim (A. s).

There was a place in Iraq called Ninewa. The people here were immersed in polytheism and sin so Allah (SWT) sent Yunus (A.S.) as a messenger to the people of Ninewa. As Allah said in the Qur'an, and I sent him to one hundred thousand, rather more than that to the people.

In Ninewa there were approximately one hundred and twenty thousand people and all of them were on disbelief. Yunus (A.S.) kept calling them for years , But the people did not listen. Prophet Yunus (A.S.) felt very sad and then prophet made them aware of the punishment of Allah. As Allah said, one day you will be punished. After this in a state of anger , Prophet yunus (A.s) left the place.

But Allah didn't allow prophet to leave the place. When Allah appoints someone as a prophet to a place, then that prophet cannot leave that place until Allah 's permission is given.

When Yunus ( A.S.) left his people at the same time, the signs of the punishment of Allah began to appear on that place. Those people were aware of the punishment. Then all of them ended the dispute and agreed that Yunus ( A.S.) was telling the truth. All of them repented from Allah and brought faith . But Yunus( A.S.) was not there at that time. They kept expressing their sind and kept asking for forgiveness. Finally Allah showed mercy on them and removed the punishment. At the same time 120000 people brought faith while their prophets were not among them.

🚒 The Big Ship

Prophet Yunus (A.S.) got on a ship and started his journey.
Suddenly, a huge storm came! The strom was so dangerous that it seemed that the boat would sink.To save the ship, people decided that someone must leave the ship.
Allah chose Prophet Yunus (A.S.), and he fell into the sea.

🐳 Inside the Whale

Allah sent a big whale that gently swallowed Prophet Yunus (A.S.).
But Allah had commanded the fish not to harm the prophet.
This was all happened because you left the settlement without Allah's permission. Prophet Yunus (A.S.) regretted himself felt sorry and prayed to Allah:
In that darkness in the depths of the sea , prophet yunus ( A.S.) called out to Allah.

“La ilaha illa anta, Subhanaka, inni kuntu minaz-zalimeen.”
(There is no god but You. Glory be to You. I was wrong.)

Allah loves when we say sorry. He accepted the dua ❤️

🌱 Allah’s Mercy

Allah told the whale to place Prophet Yunus (A.S.) safely on land.
Allah grew a plant to give him shade and comfort.

Later, Prophet Yunus (A.S.) went back to his people.
This time, the people believed in Allah and became good.

🌈 Moral for Kids

✨ Allah always listens to our duas
✨ Saying sorry is a good thing
✨ Never lose hope in Allah’s mercy

🌟 Conclusion 🌟

The story of Prophet Yunus (A.S.) teaches us that Allah is very kind and forgiving. When we make a mistake and we should say sorry from our heart, Allah always listens to us. We should never lose hope in Allah , even in difficult times, because Allah can help us in many ways we cannot even imagine. Just like Prophet Yunus (A.S.), we should always remember Allah, make dua, and try to do better every day πŸ’›
