Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.): A Story of Faith and Kindness
Prophet Ibrahim (A.s.) was a very special prophet of Allah named as khalil ullah means close friend of Allah, upon whom many trials came. His life teaches us how to be brave, kind, and truthful—and how to trust Allah no matter what.
A Boy Who Loved the Truth
Ibrahim ( A.S.)' father used to sell the idols and worshiped them Ibrahim (A.S.) said to his father and his people, who do you worship? They replied, idols Ibrahim (A.S.) said when you call the idols do they listen to you? Or can they harm you ? The people said we do not know anything about this we have seen our forefathers doing this. Allah has given guidance to Ibrahim (A.S.) at a young age . Therefore Ibrahim (A.S.) had never worshiped idols even for a moment. He believed that Allah is the One true God, who created the sky, the stars, the sun, and everything we see.
Brave and Honest
Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) was very brave. He told his people that worshipping idols was wrong, even though they became angry with him. They tried to hurt him by throwing him into a big fire—but Allah protected him and made the fire cool and safe. This showed that Allah always helps those who believe in Him. Therefore when Ibrahim (A.S.) was put in the fire it cooled down. The fire cannot burn without the command of Allah because it is also the creation of Allah and it's nature is also with Allah. People were standing around the fire to see Ibrahim (A.S.) burn . But they were surprised to see that Ibrahim (A.S.) was sitting in the fire and then came out of the fire. Even after seeing such a big miracle no one believed except Lut (A.S.) people were stubborn on disbelief.
A Very Special Test
Allah once gave Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) a very difficult test. He was asked to sacrifice his beloved son, Ismail (A.S.). Ibrahim (A.S.) trusted Allah completely and was ready to obey. Just before the sacrifice, Allah stopped him and sent a ram instead. Allah was happy with Ibrahim’s faith and obedience.
We remember this beautiful story every year on Eid al-Adha
Building the Kaaba
Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) along with his son Ismail (A.S.) was commanded to rebuild the Kaaba and they worked together to build the Kaaba in Makkah. The Kaaba is a special house where Muslims around the world face when they pray. It teaches us about teamwork, patience, and worshipping Allah alone. Today, millions of people face the Kaaba during prayer and visit it during Hajj, continuing a legacy that began with prophet Ibrahim (A S.) pure monotheistic mission.
Points to remember
