Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) was one of the greatest prophets chosen by Allah. He was not only the king of animals, birds and jinn.Allah blessed him with amazing gifts that he could understand everyone's language . Sulaiman (A.s.) also had control over the air . And he could come and go in a few seconds.
Prophet Sulaiman ( A.S.) was the son prophet Dawud (A.S.) Allah blessed both father and son with prophethood.
The Story of the Ant
One day, Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) was traveling with his big army. As they moved forward, a little ant saw them coming and quickly told the other ants:
Friends, run into your homes so you don't get crushed by Prophet Sulaiman's army!
When Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) heard what the ant said, he smiled softly.
He was happy because even a small ant was caring about others. Right away, he thanked Allah and made a nice prayer, asking Allah to help him stay thankful and keep doing good things.
This teaches us that in Allah's eyes, no creature is too small.
Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) and the Birds
One day , prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) was taking the news of all the birds. When he saw that a bird was not there, he said why can't I see the Hudhud bird? Is he really absent? I'll definitely punish him if he doesn't give me a reasonable reason. In a little while the Hudhud bird came there and said, I have brought you such news that you do not even know about it. A place where people worshipped the sun rather than Allah. Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) kindly invited those people to worship Allah alone, with patience , wisdom, calmness, and compass
Achievement of Sulaiman (A.S.)
The biggest achievement of Sulaiman ( A.S.) is that Sulaiman (A.s.) built Masjid -Al-Aqsa the work was assigned to the jinns in a very magnificent and elaborate manner. It must be mentioned that Sulaiman (A.S) only rebuilt this mosque just like Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) rebuilt Masjiy-Al-Haram in Makkah.
Conclusion
From the life of Sulaiman (A.S.) we learn that no one is worthy of worship except Allah. Anyone who worships anyone other than Allah will only be humiliated.Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) also teaches us that true greatness is not in power or wealth, we also learn that we should always be thankful to Allah and pray to Allah. Sulaiman (A.S.) asked Allah for a kingdom that no one has and Allah accepted this prayer. Possible and impossible are the limits of our mind. Everything is possible for Allah so pray to Allah a lot.
If we follow his example, we can become better Muslims and kinder human beings.
